The school is located in the city centre, above a famous desert shop. It is close to transport and within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the city.There are many restaurants and cafés nearby.The school is close to all the major bus routes including the free City Shuttle bus route.

The language centre is fully equipped with up-to-date materials and resources for students and teachers alike. It has 10 computers for student use for Internet access and self-study in the afternoons. There is a student’s room with coffee and tea making facilities, a microwave oven, fridge and vending machines.

Christchurch is often described as “the most English city outside of Englandâ€?, it is a city of beautiful old buildings, tree-lined streets, gardens and parks. Going East you can find the sea, and to the West you can find magnificent forests and lakes, to the South the Alps and North extraordinary wild beaches.

Because the city is situated near the mountains, rivers, hills and beaches students can also take their pick from a variety of activities including swimming, surfing, snowboarding, skiing, bungee jumping, sky diving, punting, sailing, horse riding, whale watching, sight seeing, etc… Students are escorted on weekly social activities that are arranged by the school.
