It offers great facilities such as a modern computer lab that has 15 state of the art computers connected to the Internet with hyper-speed ISDN technology. Students have free access to the lab and many modern ESL CD-ROM's. Students use the lab to do email, practice their English and do research on the Web. The school is 5-minute walk or a short bus ride from live theatre, concerts, museums, art galleries, several of the city's finest beaches and the world famous Stanley Park.

Teachers are experienced and certified English instructors with university degrees and with English teaching experience.

Depending on the season, student activities and excursions may include parties, theatre nights, museum and gallery tours, mountain biking, sporting matches, pub nights, pizza lunches, dinner parties, beach volleyball, shopping trips, skiing and snowboarding, canoeing, conversation club meetings, whale watching, ice skating and weekend excursions to neighbouring cities and places of interest. A member of the school staff leads all scheduled activities and students are required to speak English only on all field trips and excursions.
