THE PRICE OF THE COURSE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Prices do not include transfers from/to the airport, plane tickets, medical insurance and legal liability, unless otherwise stated.

ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS/TRIPS

All our schools have a wide programme of activities and excursions; some of them are free of charge. All of them are displayed on the bulletin board of every centre, the pupil will be able to sign up for those s/he is interested in; if there is a fee to be paid, the student should do so directly to the responsible person at the school reception.

HOLIDAYS

Schools will remain closed during their country of origin official holidays, or official city holidays. Lessons will not be made up in any other date or day. Accordingly, fees for lessons missed on these occasions cannot be reimbursed.

ACCOMMODATION

The date of arrival to the accommodation will always be on Sundays being Saturdays the departure day. Students must usually leave their rooms before 11 a.m.; if the student wishes to stay longer s/he will have to pay the extra nights accordingly.

The centre of studies carefully selects host families, this is a rigorous process, however under no circumstances Inter-schools can guarantee family homes are placed in the centre of the selected city.

Students' residences are clean and well equipped; they usually have common areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Some of them will have the bed linen included but you must leave a deposit that may be reimbursed at the end of your stay, others work in a rental basis. All students will need to provide their own towels. Laundry service is not usually included.

Once your accommodation is confirmed, shall you request any change, such as dates or change of accommodation, it will incur in a charge of 100 Euros as per procedure costs.

DOCUMENTS:

All your documents, i.e. Passport, visa if necessary, must be up to date when enrolling into any of our courses. If the participant is unable to travel because of his/her personal documents, the course will automatically be cancelled, and therefore it will be subject to Cancellation Policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All cancellations must be expressed to Inter-Schools in writing.

-1 If the cancellation is carried out in a deadline inferior to 15 days before the beginning of the course or during the same the student will not have the right to any refund.

- 2 If the cancellation is carried out in a deadline superior to 15 days before the beginning of the course, the expenses of cancellation will be 200 Euros.

Refunds will be carried out within one to two weeks after the reception of the student’s cancellation by email or fax.

As per MEC students, if the scholarship is not granted, the student will be refunded the 200 Euros deposit in the receipt of the Ministerio’s letter stating the no concession of the above-mentioned scholarship. The deadline for obtaining the deposit back is 3 weeks prior to the commencentment of your course. If you fail to do this during the established period of time the expenses of cancellation mentioned (1 & 2) will be applied formerly.

InterSchools reserves the right to cancel the course and accommodation of a student if this has not satisfied the second payment in the deadline stipulated in the document Method of Payment, in this case InterSchools will not refund the deposit.

EXPULSIONS

The student compromises on fulfilling the laws and customs of the country where s/he stays, as well as the rules established by the school in which s/he studies. In the event of expulsion the cost of the course will not be reimbursed.

CONFORMITY

To enrol in a course implies the acceptance and total knowledge of the General Conditions stipulated herewith. Any claim should be presented in writing and these will not be accepted once the course/programme is finished.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE

InterSchools reserves the right to increase or reduce the prices according to the prevailing currency fluctuations.

LIABILITY

InterSchools is not liable for damages or harm due to external causes, such as strikes, accidents, natural disasters, etc.
